For the sick, the poor, and the betrayed. You are not invisible. You are not alone.
While Britain’s most vulnerable are told to tighten their belts, a very different message is being whispered in Whitehall’s corridors: bend the knee to the tech giants—Trump demands it.
Yes, that Trump. Back in power and back to business—this time with tariffs loaded, finger on the trigger, and a message for Prime Minister Starmer: scrap your digital services tax on Silicon Valley, or suffer the cost.
A Tale of Two Nations
One nation is told there’s no money left.
That’s the Britain where the sick are shamed, the poor are punished, and the disabled are blamed for draining public coffers. Welfare cuts fall like a guillotine. The language of “efficiency” masks the cruelty. Behind every budget line lies a human life—shrinking under the weight of austerity 2.0.
The other nation? That’s the world of trillion-dollar tech empires—Amazon, Google, Meta. Not paying their fair share? Don’t worry. Trump’s got their back.
And Starmer? He’s listening.
Behind closed doors, as part of a so-called Economic Prosperity Deal, Britain is considering scrapping an £800 million-a-year digital services tax. This tax was one of the few levers left to make multinationals contribute something—anything—back to the societies they profit from.
Now it’s on the chopping block.
This Isn’t Negotiation. It’s Extortion.
Trump is threatening to unleash a global tariff war—tariffs of up to 25%, slapping down any nation daring to tax US exports or challenge American corporate interests. He calls it “reciprocal.” But let’s call it what it is: protection racket diplomacy.
He’s not asking Britain to reconsider.
He’s demanding we surrender.
And Starmer? Rather than defend the sick, the struggling, or the sovereign right to tax corporations—he’s bartering away our future to avoid the wrath of America’s CEO-in-Chief.
Meanwhile, Back Home…
While Reynolds wines and dines in Washington, back in Britain, a different kind of negotiation is taking place.
Not between ministers, but between desperate citizens and a system that’s abandoned them.
— A disabled single mother is told her support is being “reviewed.”
— An elderly man on dialysis is sanctioned for missing a job centre appointment.
— A cancer patient receives a letter: your benefits are being cut.
The state once promised a safety net.
Now it’s just a trapdoor.
This Is a War on the Weak
When the powerful make deals with the powerful, it’s always the powerless who pay.
They dress it up in economic jargon—”growth,” “prosperity,” “international cooperation.” But strip away the spin, and what you see is this: a government protecting profits over people.
A government willing to trade away tax justice to appease a foreign tyrant.
A government that slashes welfare at home while negotiating sweetheart deals for trillion-dollar firms abroad.
This isn’t fiscal policy. It’s feudalism.
Enough.
We will not be silent while they rob the public purse and shame the victims.
We will not stand by while the tax code becomes a tool for tyranny.
We will not accept a world where being sick is treated like a crime—and being rich is treated like a virtue.
Here’s What You Can Do
- Ask Who Benefits. When a policy is announced, don’t ask what it costs. Ask who profits.
- Join the Resistance. Speak, share, and organise. Your voice matters more than ever.
- Reclaim Your Power. Stop waiting for justice from those who serve the system. Build your own GAME Plan. Find your community. Start where you are.
And to Starmer:
Your legacy is being written—right now.
You can either side with the people or the plutocrats.
But you can’t do both.
Now is the time to unmask the robbers.
Now is the time to stand for the sick.
Now is the time to say: No more.
Your Money or Your Life.
We’re choosing both.
